Back to Yerevan

After a well rested night at the freaky and trippy Zangezur Hotel and a wonderful breakfast which was included we got back into our well loved mini van and headed to our first stop which was the Khndzoresk swinging bridge, scary but awesome, most of us made it across and saw the caves, which Armenians used to hide it from there some of us took the 500 steps it took to get back up and some caught a taxi.

Back in our mini van, with Chris and Suzie arguing over seating positions. On the way to Wing of Tatev, the scenery was amazing, with lots of cows, horses, eagles around the roads. at 12;30 sharp we took the cable car  which is one of the longest cable cars in the world to the monastery which is a 9th century historical monument. We looked around, the history was amazing. After 50 minutes we headed back in the cable car and had a shawarma lunch at the Tatev restaurant, sitting outside and taking in the views.

Our second last stop for the day was Shaki Waterfalls on the Vorotan river, it took a little walk to get there but was amazing and cool once we got there. By now it was late afternoon and our last stop was the Areni wine tasting factory, wine was good but the cognac was better, after a long day we had a 2 hour trip back in the mini van and got back to Yerevan around 915pm, then went to dinner, as everyone has dinner late here.
